Not long after the terror, Kwon-joo hears a shocking news that Chief Jang killed hikers and himself.

Despite Kang-woo's prediction, the team doesn't cooperate upon a rumor of him being a suspect.

Kang-woo, chasing a suspect alone, goes to the site and meets Gi-hyuk trying to murder a culprit.

When the suspect Min-su meets the team, he insists he's irrelevant. He is killed when they leave.

The team traces the voice-phishing surveillant, but he decides to kill the crime suspect, Hee-jin.

Enraged, Hong-soo presses the team to disband. To him, Detective Doh proposes a conditional deal.

The team tracks the assailant of David Go. Meanwhile, Hong-soo tells Kwon-joo Kang-woo's secret.

Je-soo kills Ms. Hwang and disguises the crime. And at the crime scene, Hong-soo faces Je-soo.
